In a word? Curious. My double major in chemistry and English has taught me how to see the world through systems and stories, creativity and analysis. Whether identifying a molecule through 2D NMR spectra or examining Shakespeare’s insight into the human condition, I love the process and challenge of weaving a coherent narrative from seemingly chaotic sets of information. 

Currently I am living in the East Village neighborhood of New York City where I’m exploring everything it has to offer – and which I document on my ‘Davis explores New York’ page! In my free time, I visit the Met at least twice a week, read avidly, and have begun running again (my favorite route is along the East River by the Williamsburg Bridge).
